Emily Frost uses an assortment of media in her artwork, including oil, watercolors, acrylic, photography and found objects. "I will often combine several of these media, but almost always use found objects. I love giving new life and meaning to things that are old, used and discarded."
Moving to Bolivar with her husband and family in 1987, Frost had only played around with art. It all changed when she enrolled at Southwest Baptist University and declared an art major. She studied design, drawing, painting and photography. When asked how she got started in art, her response was: "It was an accident." After beginning her first class, she immediately fell in love with art and has been creating artwork for the past 17 years.
